It wasn’t until well into my degree (in Accounting and Finance) that I first heard about private equity. At university, we learned about it very briefly as part of my M&A modules. However, the reality of PE is far from numbers on a spreadsheet – I now realise that private equity is all about investing in people, ideas and culture.

Having lived in different places while growing up, it’s hard to pick just one to call home. While my cosy flat in London feels like home right now, home to me is where my family is—so for now, that’s India.
